EAAS WOMEN'S NETWORK

WiN: The EAAS Women’s Network Journal

WiN is a double-blind peer-reviewed open-access journal, edited by and on behalf of the Women’s Network of the European Association of American Studies. WiN is currently published once every two years (inaugural issue 2018). Following each bi-annual conference of the EAAS Women’s Network, the editors invite manuscripts based on the conference theme via an open call for papers based on that year’s conference topic. Publication is not contingent on whether prospective authors previously presented at a EAAS Women’s Network conference, and articles based on conference presentations will also go through the double-blind peer-review process.
If you want to plan ahead, you can find more information on future conferences on our website.

WiN’s mission is to foster feminist research, gender studies, and LGBTQ*IA in American Studies in Europe and elsewhere. We provide an open-access platform for collaboration amongst (European) Americanists, and we encourage the examination and interrogation of new directions in women’s, gender, and LGBTQ*IA studies such as gender and capitalism, affect theory, life course studies, and environmental/social justice discourses.

Manuscripts should be between 5,000-8,000 words long (excluding footnotes); please provide an abstract of no more than 300 words, use American spelling, and document your sources according to MLA 9.

Please understand that we are currently not accepting manuscripts outside of the framework of our CfPs.
